Good Evening,

My name is Tijuana Smith and I am the owner of Po' Man Meals. One of my recipes, Cheesy Roasted Broccoli patties has been posted on your website above. The ingredients and recipe description in this recipe has been copied and pasted verbatim from my website which violates the copyright infringement policy I have on my website. In addition, my picture has been posted on this recipe as well, without my permission. I would appreciate removal of my recipe from your website.

The link to the actual Cheesy Roasted Broccoli patties recipe on my website is found here -

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you,
Tijuana Smith

I have read your comment and would like to point out that the copyright on your that you speak of was for 2 years and ended in 2012, also copyright laws state that the ingredients to said recipe in itself can not be copyrighted because they are facts, in regards to preparation of the dish. I have changed the image attached to this recipe per your request.. but FYI .. this image is all over google and bing and not linked to your name or blog.

I am aware that many people have taken my recipe and picture and have claimed it as their own, as you have added potato to my recipe. However, that does not make it right to take or copy someone's content. It is very simple to link back to a recipe or say 'adapted from' as common courtesy and to give credit where credit is due.

I wasn't making it my own .. I claimed no ownership of it, I was merely sharing a recipe I felt was worthy of sharing,, and when my friends send me recipes I do not always get a "link back" so therefore I had no idea where it originated from, now I have changed it on here and it no longer shows on facebook Also on my facebook page, I clearly state that I do not own any of the recipes that are posted, that mine is a sharing site only... so they removed them and all is right with the world now.. the recipe and the photo has been changed as not to anything from you or your blog in anyway.
